🐟🌊 Harvest of the Month: Coho Salmon! 🌊🐟
Dear Families & Community Members,
We’re excited to share that this month’s Harvest of the Month is Coho salmon!
Also known as Silver Salmon, Coho is a Pacific Northwest favorite and an important part of our region’s history, culture, and economy. Our featured salmon comes from Muckleshoot Seafood Products, a tribally owned enterprise of the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe.
Salmon has long been an integral part of the Tribe’s culture and traditions. Through sustainable, local, and wild-caught practices, Muckleshoot Seafood Products works with tribal fishers to bring high-quality salmon from the waters of Washington to communities near and far.
💙 Why Coho Salmon?
Wild-caught and sustainably sourced
Rich in protein and heart-healthy omega-3s
A delicious way to connect with our local heritage
We’re proud to highlight foods that celebrate our region and support local partnerships.
