Touchet School District is now accepting referrals for students in grades K–12 who may qualify for Highly Capable Services!
👥 Who Can Refer a Student? Anyone can submit a referral, including:
👨👩👧 Parents and guardians
🍎 Teachers and school staff
🧑🎓 Other students
🏘️ Community members
🧠 What Are Highly Capable Services?
These services are designed to meet the unique learning needs of highly capable students in grades K–12.
📝 How to Refer a Student
📍 Pick up a referral form at either school office.
📅 Deadline: October 23, 2026
📬 Return the form to your school office or mail it to:

📚 Testing & Notification
🗓️ Testing for eligible students screened for further assessment will take place in October/November 2026.
📩 Families will be notified of placement decisions in November 2026.
⚠️ Once testing is scheduled, appointments will only be rescheduled for a true family emergency or illness.
💡 Already Identified?
Students who have already been identified for Highly Capable Services do not need to complete the referral process again.
