Touchet FFA
Eleven Touchet FFA members, accompanied by FFA Advisor Mr. Maiden, were excited to

attend the 2024 Spokane Ag Show, held February 6-8 at the Spokane Convention Center. The
event provides an opportunity for FFA members to learn about the latest advancements in
agriculture, network with industry professionals, and participate in career development activities.

“We are thrilled to be able to take our students to the Spokane Ag Show for the FFA Program,”
said Mr. Maiden. “This event is a valuable resource for FFA members to explore potential
career paths and gain insights into the ever-changing world of agriculture.”

The 2024 Spokane Ag Show features a variety of educational programs, including:

  • Keynote Speaker: A panel of agriculture professionals presented “From Field to   Feed: Today’s Jobs in Ag Communications (bots need not apply).” This session explored the growing demand for effective communication skills in the agriculture industry.
  • Career Fair: On Thursday, February 8th from 11:00am – 12:30pm, the Ag Show hosted a Career Fair to connect high school students with potential employers in the agriculture industry.
  •  Educational Exhibits: The show floor was filled with exhibits showcasing the latest technologies and products in agriculture.
The Touchet FFA members were excited to participate in all that the Spokane Ag Show had to
