February 11, 2025 Touchet School District Expresses Gratitude for Community Support of 3-Year Replacement EP&O Levy Touchet, WA – On behalf of the Touchet School District Board of Directors, Superintendent Robert Elizondo, and the entire staff, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to our community for your support in the recent vote on the three-year Replacement Educational Programs & Operations (EP&O) Levy. As of February 11, preliminary vote counts indicate a favorable outcome, with 56% of voters supporting the levy. While these results are not yet certified and will be finalized on February 21, we remain optimistic about the positive impact this levy will have on our district. The anticipated approval of this levy reflects our community's commitment to maintaining high-quality educational experiences for our students. These funds are essential for sustaining critical services, including smaller class sizes, instructional programs, student activities, and other opportunities that enrich the educational journey of every Touchet student. We deeply appreciate your trust and dedication to ensuring that every student in the Touchet School District receives the best possible education. Your support strengthens the partnership between our schools and the community, reaffirming our shared commitment to excellence in education. Thank you for standing with us. Thank you, Snap Ed, for making healthy choices fun!🥗 🧠NED Show on Growth Mindset On Tuesday, students from kindergarten through seventh grade will experience the NED show, where they’ll learn about the importance of a growth mindset. NED, a lovable cartoon character, stands for Never give up, Encourage others, and Do your best. We can’t wait to see our students inspired by NED’s positive message! Exciting news! NED will be selling Yo-Yos, and all proceeds go directly back to the NED program to help spread their positive message to even more schools. This is a great way for students to support a program that encourages resilience and doing their best.🪀 🙌iReady Surprise Visit Thursday brings a special surprise visitor from iReady! They’ll be here to motivate our students, boosting their excitement and encouraging them to stay focused on their growth in iReady.
